Our Directors have more than 100 years accumulated experience in their specialised fields.
AWS was formed in 2005 after extensive research revealed that the Pipeline Construction Industry had a requirement for a mechanised welding system which would allow access to small and medium sized contractors who wished to use this type of welding process on pipeline projects. Before this event, mechanised welding on large diameter long distance pipelines was restricted to only the largest contractors due mainly to financial restraints.
Now with the Introduction of the Comet Mk 5 the smallest and largest of projects are accessible.
AWS have provided the Comet Mk 5 Welding System to various companies worldwide and we are currently pursuing equipment supply on large contracts in the pipeline Industry.
The Comet Mk 5 is our only product and we have channelled all of our energies to make this machine a standard within the industry. Extensive research and testing has been carried out prior to launching our product to ensure performance and durability in the extreme environments encountered in the pipeline construction industry.

KAUSHIK DE CHAUDHURI
Director
Kaushik De Chaudhuri is a distinguished leader with a Mechanical Engineering degree from MIT, Manipal (1994) and an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur (2004). He has extensive expertise in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects within the Oil & Gas and Infrastructure sectors. Starting his career with Punj Lloyd Ltd., he gained invaluable experience in construction management and project execution. In 2002, he founded Infra Del Projects, later joining Kaz Story Service in Kazakhstan, where he rose to Managing Director. Returning to IDP as Managing Director, he now brings his wealth of experience to AWS Ltd, steering the company towards sustained growth.
Mick Brennan
Technical Advisor
Mick Brennan began his journey as a field service engineer and eventually became the owner of the company. Now retired, Mick continues to share his wealth of knowledge and experience with us as a technical advisor. His deep understanding of the industry and unwavering commitment to excellence guide our team. Mick’s legacy and ongoing contributions remain integral to our company’s success.
KISHOR KUMAR PARUTHI
Director
Kishor Paruthi Kumar is a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Welding, with over 26 years of quality experience in the oil and gas and energy sectors. He has extensive expertise in Construction Quality Assurance, Project Management, Integrity Assurance, and more. Kishor has led large-scale projects for CPC in Kazakhstan and Russia, and BV in Uzbekistan, across various regions. Joining Infra Del Projects in 2020, he now oversees Quality Assurance and Compliance for projects in Kazakhstan, Russia, and beyond. Kishor brings his vast experience and leadership to AWS Ltd as a director, driving excellence in all endeavors.

Vaibhav Singh is a key member of our manufacturing team, specializing in design and research & development. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation, Vaibhav plays a pivotal role in creating cutting-edge solutions for our products. JOHN STRAFFORD
Financial consultant
A seasoned professional in Management, Finance, and Banking, he began his career on Wall Street with French American Banking Corp, gaining 20 years of experience in commercial banking and corporate finance. In 1994, he joined KPMG to advise the Kazakh government on capital markets and banking reform, later managing similar projects in Bulgaria and Vietnam. He has extensive experience in O&G projects across Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, and UAE, including roles at Victoria Oil & Gas and a construction group in Kazakhstan. Since 2013, he has advised various Kazakh companies on finance and management. He is now Head of Strategy at IDP, contributing to the company’s growth plans.
